This is great advice but I'm afraid it might be too late. It's been 38 days and Obama has shown a great lack of focus and action on dealing with this oil spill.

Chris Matthews puts some much needed pressure on the Obama administration
Here are two great clips from Chris Matthews about how the Obama administration is dropping the ball on this oil spill. If the government has no idea how to stop this at least they can look like they're putting pressure on BP to do it. Rand Paul says that Obama shouldn't be putting a boot on the neck of BP, that's bullshit. They deserve every bit of it. In my opinion Obama and his team are not taking enough control of the situation. Why trust BP to clean this up when they caused it in the first place.

My heart is breaking...
This oil spill has my stomach in knots. I'm just hoping that BP can get their act together and stop it. My fingers are crossed that this Top Kill method works.

I wish I bought BP gas before so that I could boycott it now, no such luck.

"Death of Conservatism"
One of my favorite radio shows is Radio Times with Marty Moss-Coane produced here in Philly on WHYY. Yesterday she had a great discussion with Sam Tanenhaus, the author of the "Death of Conservatism". He goes into some historical detail about how the fringe of the Republican party has taken over and have pushed the moderates out. Give it a listen while you work at your computer. :-)

In his new book, The Death of Conservatism, author SAM TANENHAUS argues that the nation is better off when liberals are challenged by "true" conservatives. Tanenhaus is the editor of the New York Times Book Review and Week in Review sections. Listen to the mp3
